DuraNet stands by its name ( Durable Net)
A Long Lasting Insecticide Net (LLIN) with high durability on usage over years DuraNet out performs it equivalent products and other long lasting nets in laboratory and field conditions.
World Health Organization conducted a study, “Determination of Fabric Strength of Long-lasting Insecticidal Nets” during 2014. As per the study results DuraNet outperformed the other LLIN’s in the market with the highest bursting strength (662 kPa). The study results stand as a proof for the high quality of DuraNet long lasting insecticidal net.
A recent study carried out by Vector Works and sponsored by US President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), Center for Disease Control (CDC), USA and USAID on durability monitoring of LLINs distributed in different countries found that after 3 years (36 months) more than 80% DuraNet distributed in DRC have optimal performance and in Liberia and Kenya DuraNet LLINs distributed are performing well after 12 months. The studies show the superiority DuraNet, the originator LN over its equivalent LNs.
DuraNet gives value for money with optimal effectiveness guaranteed for minimum three years, the expected usage period for nets (ITNs) in the field and thus DuraNet aligns well with the global net replacement policy. The two studies reveal the consistency in the performance of DuraNet in the laboratory as well as in the field studies.
